Windows 7 Professional is pre-installed, or the user can overwrite it with Windows XP Professional, provided on a CD. The wide keys of the Acer FineTouch keyboard allow for more comfortable typing, while the multi-gesture touchpad lets users navigate, zoom and scroll with remarkable ease. A touchpad lock prevents accidental cursor movement.
